The Glenkens is situated in the heart of Galloway midway along the western section of the Southern Upland way making this area the ideal location for your walking holiday. 

The Glenkens is currently being hailed as the UK’s new walking destination with upwards of 100 walks from gentle strolls to full hikes launched in conjunction with the 21st Anniversary of the Southern Upland Way in April 2005.

The Glenkens is the new arena for those seeking an outdoors experience. Packed with walking experiences for all with an abundance of wildlife, all based around the adjacent Galloway Forest Park.
